Otherwise known as ENERGY! And it is everywhere because every single thing that you can see (and even that you can’t see with the naked eye 👁) is energy.

That’s right!! Everything in the universe is made up of energy, connecting everyone and every thing. Everything is energy so everything is ONE. Again, this is how we, as human beings, share more similarities than we do differences…I shall continue with this thought in a very objective way.
Consulting with my friend, Google, it is said that “Energy is the basis of material reality,” thanks to the study of quantum physics. (April 21, 2016) Which includes the very bodies that we live inside!! 😯
Have you ever really stopped to think about how cool that is??????
That you and I have this human body that is comprised of trillions of cells……
which are each broken down into proteins……
which are each made up of various molecules and elements…
which are each made up of atoms, or the basic units of chemical elements. SO, all this to say that atoms make up every cell and therefore our body is composed of zillions of atoms, (or 7 billion billion billion, if you want a more accurate number….it’s true because the internet never lies. 😳 Yet this incredibly monumental number seems reasonable in this context!🧐) AND every single atom has energy, in one form or another, moving around and dancing….Hence, we are infinitely energetic beings as we live and breathe!!
(Psssssst….🤫 Side note: And CLEARLY we are all meant to dance because our atoms say so…..so if you are one of those people who believe you “can’t” dance, even though to move/wiggle/toe-tap is to dance, you should probably think twice because the atoms in your body think otherwise! Just something to consider for future reference, to give yourself some room to let go a little (or a lot!!) and move your body! 😉 In my humble opinion, you and your amazing body deserve it now more than ever, to find joy wherever possible during this “ultra-stressful-COVID-19-and-disheartening-disarray-of-our-country-in-every-which-way” time. No doubt about that.. <huge sigh>🥺)

Okay then – – –
So, the two take-aways so far:
#1) Dance and/or move with joy just because you can (and your body and all those atoms will love it!!)!!
#2) Our bodies are energy-creating and -manifesting masterpieces. Go, Bodies, Go!! 🙌🏼
BUT, you may ask, why is this even important or useful to know??? Because yeah, sure, high-energy or lethargic lack or energy, mitochondria, ATP, blah, blah, blah, school stuff….the body is in charge of that stuff, not me!!!
Is it all involuntary and out of our control?!?!?!
Once more, I asked our chum, Google, about other ways in which energy impacts our lives. And this is what was so eloquently stated:

WHOA!!!! So, not only is our entire being made up of energy, BUT ALSO that every function of our body, every movement, and every thought or feeling that we create is also made possible because of our inner energy at work.
We have already talked about how our lives are driven by our thoughts and then those thoughts produce feelings in our bodies that then drives us to a behavior or an action and that moves us towards some sort of a conclusion or a result…..<breath>…..so THIS is how it connects to the mind-body-spirit of our prior conversations and also with regards to my ongoing personal journey of self-discovery!!! And maybe we have more control over our energy than we think we do.

But there’s more!!!! And this is another one of those life-changing phenomena that may assist in a perspective shift concerning your own life….Ready?!?!!?!!?!!?!!?
OKAY!!!! (Maybe I really was a cheerleader in a former life? 😁) So, the information that we process through our 5 senses is also energy. So, the things that we see, hear, touch, taste, and smell go into the sensory receptors of our body through energy which feeds the brain. Energy is also all of those external factors and stimuli that stimulate the 5 senses including all events, traumas, and the good/bad/insignificant/minor/debilitating experiences as well.

But, here’s the thing. All of that energy that enters the body through our senses and our experiences is SUPPOSED TO PASS RIGHT THROUGH US and release back into the Universe. Notice how I say “supposed to” do this….
What does this mean? Well, upon reading the book by Michael A. Singer, “The Untethered Soul,” it has provided such insight into ways that we, as humans, manifest and hold onto the very things that create so much suffering in our own lives. Yet, we look at it as “the way things are” without realizing that we are causing it, which means that it’s within our power to change it for ourselves.
And I love the way that Singer explains this concept. He looks at the eyes as two cameras that take in the environment and our surroundings, as opposed to the eyes being “the windows to the soul.” And whatever images that these two cameras in our head see, all of it is energy passing through the body because it is getting processed and assessed through our own individual lenses of past experiences. Seriously, everything that you see!!!!!

Take a moment to think of all of the things that you see on a daily basis: The items in the rooms of your home; the food you eat; the kids and people around you (hopefully socially distanced and wearing masks if you’re outside of your home 😷); what you watch on tv; the trees and other cars that you see when you’re driving your vehicle; the pencil on the floor……every single thing is energy coming into your body through your eyes and passing right through because that is what it is supposed to do. Flow in and flow out through the energy channels of the body.
Now let’s look at a scenario. What happens if you’re out for a morning walk on a trail and a venomous snake almost makes your acquaintance and scares the shitake right outta you!!!!! With a flight or fight response, you take off running like a professional sprinter and escape the situation, unharmed. PHEW!!!! It’s at this point where the energy, that built up within your system and that gave you the momentum to run away from a danger, should now be released because you are safe…
But is that what we do?
Often times we choose not to release that energy because that snake freaked us out and we feel traumatized!! So we resist this feeling and hold onto it instead, burying the stale energy inside our body where it shall now live. Now, if we see any future snake, we may relive that old experience of our snake encounter and feel terrified – – exactly the way that we did on our morning walk, all those days/weeks/months/years/decades ago. OR we may feel apprehensive to go on trail walks now or even to go outside!! Again, we are carrying this fearful energy around with us that will rear its ugly head whenever there is a slight reminder of that dreadful day in our past and a slim potential of it happening again. Even though we are no longer in any danger from this snake, and we haven’t been in any snake danger since that past encounter, it is still wreaking havoc in our lives and creating so much suffering in our present moment.

And we can replace the “snake” in this example with anything that is and has been bothering us or stressing us out. Relationship struggles, trouble at work, a car accident, or a body issue/sickness/injury, as a few examples. Like my past knee traumas that I am and have been clearly carrying with me. AND/OR this can include any of our triggers that, once pushed, create expressions and feelings of anger, guilt, sadness, fear, anxiety, depression, and so on. All of this is due to trapped energy in our bodies that longs to be released but that we continue to keep hidden and allow to fester inside of us.
As Michael A. Singer explains, a trigger, (or a Samskara – – a yogic term that he uses for these energy blockages from the past) is “…an unfinished energy pattern that ends up running your life.” (The Untethered Soul, page 53) Again, with regards to my knees, I would say that seven years of snowball knee trauma would prove this concept to be ACCURATE.

Here’s the bottom line:
Our lives are meant to be constantly experienced and released, over and over and over again. Singer explains it as:
“how the overall system of perception is meant to work. It’s meant to take things in, allow you to experience them, and then let then pass through so that you’re fully present in the next moment.” (The Untethered Soul, page 51)
Singer also provides this tidbit of superior perspective:
“To attain true inner freedom, you must be able to objectively watch your problems instead of being lost in them.” (The Untethered Soul, page 16)
Lost in thoughts, lost in emotions, lost in past events that continue to cycle through the mind and body, lost in the things in our lives that we see as problems and troubles….can you relate to any of these ideas because I sure can!!
How amazing would it be, to live life with a constant flow of good, positive energy? Knowing that all good and bad experiences don’t last (unless we death-grip them inside) and that more experiences, filled with variety, will inevitably arrive to constantly enrich our lives. And we can just experience it all, fully and presently, without holding onto any of it for dear life.
Sounds quite magical and freeing if you ask me. Yet, as fulfilling as this sounds, HOW DO WE DO THIS???????
Well, you beautiful beings, that is for next time because it is a fantastic question!!! Until then, please keep this in mind:

Are you aware of the energy that you put out into the Universe and therefore to the people and the things around you? Because you and your energy are more powerful than you even know. So, keep those loving, optimistic, and joyful vibes flowing!!!
**”The light within me, honors, loves, and respects the light within you.” And that shared light is our shared energy because we are ONE. The word, Namaste, embodies this very concept that we have discussed.**
And so……NAMASTE. 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏾❤️🙏❤️🙏🏿
